Karplus–Strong, generalized. A wave doesn't just sit in one loop — it
travels, in both directions at once, and reflects off the ends. Model that
with two delay lines (right- and left-going waves); their sum is the string's
actual displacement. Pluck it and you get a real plucked string, complete with the
pick-position comb a single loop can't produce. Swap one rigid end for a
breath-driven reed and the tube self-oscillates into a sustained,
clarinet-like tone. Hand-written in an AudioWorklet.
Breath drives the loop; the reed's soft clip keeps it stable and odd-harmonic.
